Located on the northern stretch
of Banks Peninsula, the city of Christchurch
is on the east coast of New Zealand's South
Island. New Zealand's Garden City has a population
of approximately 330,000, which makes it the
South Island's largest city.
The suburb of Riccarton, west
of the city centre, has a wide variety of shops,
cafes and restaurants. The newly refurbished
Westfield Riccarton Mall is a worthwhile shopping
experience with its diverse range of shops,
cafes and restaurants.

Christchurch's extensive parks
and botanical gardens invite you to discover
Christchurch's affinity with nature and why
not play a round at Hagley Golf club during
your stay.
The city's Arts Centre is home
to the famous Court Theatre and the Canterbury
Film Society. Christchurch's daily Arts Market
is alive with local arts and crafts and ethnic
food stalls. A visit to the art gallery is highly
recommended.
